Wow – it's hot! What a great time to adopt a pet!

I don't know about where you are, but here in the Ohio, it's hot, hot hot!

Babe at the computerMe and mom love going for walks. Sometimes we're gone for almost 2 hours because we like to play and of course talk to the people and pets we meet along the way.

But this weekend, I've been at the computer a little more. It's a LOT cooler in the house.

I've been having soooo much fun watching videos of other animals and their owners. Sometimes I laugh and sometimes I cry:)

You know, I'm usually a happy go lucky dog – full of vim and vigor. But after watching this video about dog adoption, I got serious and prayed a little prayer of thanks for my mom and a prayer for all the animals who've been abandoned and need a home. (OK, OK, I cried)

My buddy Iko (in the picture below with his dad, Eric) is a Border Collie.

Eric and Iko

He was adopted over 2 years ago (from Buckeye Border Collie Rescue) and has been like an angel dropped from heaven for his daddy, Eric and his grandma and grandpa.Iko nabs the frisbee

So, anyway.... Iko keeps them all hopping as he LOVES to catch frisbees, balls and run and play all the time.

He is SOOOOO happy, and I can't even imagine why someone would abandon him. But he's loved now.

And, get this..... he will soon have a BROTHER!!!

His dad's getting married!! And his fiance has an awesome dog named Otto.

Iko and Otto – how coooool is that?

That's what pet adoption is all about. Bringing love to the animals, owners, families and friends!

Share the love – adopt a pet:)

I'll talk with you soon!
